EXTRACEM Glass Ionomer Luting Cement
A radiopaque glass ionomer luting cement with prolonged
working time followed by snap -set reaction. Combines excellent
handling, low film thickness, high strength and contains fluoride.
Excellent adhesion of porcelain, ceramic or metal to tooht
structure.
Recommended Indicitions
✓ Cementing of crowns, bridges, inlays or orthodontic brackets.
Contra-Indications
✓ Pulp capping.
Applications
Powder: Liquid Ratio / 1 Scoop : 2 Drops / 2.00g : 1.00 g
Mixing Time: 30 sec.
Working Time: (at 23 ± 1°C): 3 minutes 30 seconds minimum
Setting Time: (at 37 ± 1°C): 4 minutes 0 seconds minimum
1. Clean the preparation and restoration with oil -free pro phypaste, water
and air dry. Use calsium hydroxide if remaining dentin is thin and pulp
protection is required.
2. Place 1 level scoop of powder and 2 bubble -free drops of liquid on glass
block or mixing pad and mix thoroughly with flat bladed spatula to cre
amy consistency.
3. Spreadathinlayerofcementoverallinsidesurfacesofrestoration andseaton
preparation. Have patient bite down sufficiently hard on a cotton ball to remove air and trim excess cement squeezed out. The set cement is tooth coloured(U).
