PROSHIELD VARNISH 5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish

Proshield Varnish is fluoride varnish containing 50mg of sodium
fluoride per 1ml. lt also contains TCP and Xylitol. It is applied to
teeth for the purpose of delivering fluoride and treatment
hypersensitivity. It has four flavors such as bubblegum, strawberry,
melon and mint. Proshield Varnish is packed in single dose
package allows easy mixing and application.

Contra Indications

Do not use on patients with ulcerative gingivitis or stomatitis.

If patients are known to be allergic to ingredients including fluoride, resin or similar materials, Proshield Varnish should not be used.

After the application of Proshield Varnish patients should avoid chewing hard food, drinking liquids containing alcohol and brushing for 4 to 6 hours.

For use as a desensitizing agent to help relieve dentinal hypersensitivity; To line cavity preparations under amalgam restorations
